Leeds United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night, in a match that will be a disappointment to the Elland Road faithful. The Whites were second best for much of the game and were fortunate not to concede more goals.
The visitors took the lead in the 25th minute when a cross from the right was headed home by Ryan Hardie. Leeds had a few chances to equalise, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
The result leaves Leeds in 15th place in the Championship table, and they will need to improve their form if they want to challenge for promotion this season.
