The CW's hit sports drama series All American is returning for a fifth season. The new season will pick up where the fourth season left off, with Spencer and Jordan preparing to enter the NFL draft. The season will also explore the challenges and triumphs of being a young black man in America.
All American stars Daniel Ezra as Spencer James, a rising high school football player from South Los Angeles who is recruited to play for a prestigious Beverly Hills high school. The series also stars Greta Onieogou as Layla Keating, Bre-Z as Tamia Cooper, and Samantha Logan as Olivia Baker.
The fourth season of All American was a critical and commercial success. The season averaged over 1 million viewers per episode and was praised for its honest portrayal of race and class in America. The series has also been nominated for several awards, including a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama.
The fifth season of All American is set to premiere on The CW on October 10, 2023.
