Though the TV-themed teaser website promises to reveal more soon, additional details on Black Ops 6 remain a mystery. We can at least expect to see the game's first full trailer and learn more about its setting, characters, and gameplay mechanics in the coming weeks.
Black Ops 6 is expected to be released in late fall or early winter and reportedly takes place during the 1990-1991 Gulf War. That puts it less than a decade after the events of the original Black Ops game, which was set during the Cold War.
It remains to be seen whether Black Ops 6 will be a direct sequel to the original game or a standalone story. However, the teaser trailer does seem to suggest that the game will feature familiar characters, such as Alex Mason and Frank Woods.
